About Deepa Assandas

She was born and raised in the Las Vegas Valley and considers herself to be one of the few true Las Vegas natives. She knows this city like the back of her hand and is a true advocate of calling Las Vegas home. Las Vegas is a rare gem. For over 30 years, she’s watched it grow from a small town into a large metropolitan city with so much to offer.

Currently living on the Las Vegas Strip, she enjoys exploring the infinite number of world-renowned restaurants just at her doorstep. She also enjoys spending her time in Summerlin, which offers great restaurants, shopping, and a rich local culture. Her husband and she love to explore Las Vegas and are always up to date with the latest additions. Besides exploring the city, she enjoys weight-lifting, yoga, playing the drums, and finding new restaurants. She regularly practices meditation and pranayama, which is an ancient practice of controlling your breath to help connect the body and mind. These practices of the mind and body help her stay focused in all aspects of her life.
