Boulder City is a historic city in Clark County about 10 miles southeast of Henderson. The city is rich in history and is only a few miles from the famous Hoover Dam. The city was founded for the sole need to house Hoover Dam workers in the 1930's. Boulder City has been named one of the best places to retire several times.
Boulder City has a unique and small town feel appealing to many. Just in 2017, it was announced that Boulder City would be the home of a new home builder's community, making Boulder City part of the current growth spurt. The Historic Railroad trail is an easy, dog friendly trail in Boulder City with panoramic views of Lake Mead. It takes you through the historic tunnels from the railroad between 1931-1961.
